Description: ACT Sprung Hub Race Clutch Kits are ideal for street & strip usage looking for high torque capacity and quick engagement. The sprung hub kits offer higher torque and heat capacity w/ fade free characteristics over organic discs. They also offer reduced driveline shock over the solid hub disc kits.

ACT pressure plates feature creative diaphragm designs that increase clamp load, reduce deflection and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms endure an exclusive four stage heat treating process for unparalleled performance. Diaphragms are induction hardened on the release bearing contact area to reduce wear and promote smooth operation. Heavy Duty pressure plates (HD) are recommended for street or race use and offer stock to moderate pedal feel with 20-50% increase. 

The sprung hub race discs are very durable and offers good spline life. The sprung center hub reduces driveline shock. The 6 pad is recommended for street & strip. Its characteristics are similar to the 4 pad but the 6 pad absorbs more heat. It has harsh engagement and chatter.
